"Blick in den Stein" - Sleenerzand / the Netherlands

The granite stone statue with a total weight of 6 tons symbolises the Bird Goddess, who watches over trees, plants, and animals in Northern European mythology and for the people of the New Stone Age - 5,000 years ago. In the cavities at the top of the stray boulder, you can experience the galaxy in which the Earth continues its journey. Organically, the statue connects culture and nature and is an ode to the enormous diversity and beauty of nature and the richness of cultural history. It connects nature and culture as it were, according to the intention of its creator artist Joachim Karbe. In several ancient cultures, the Bird Goddess represents the feminine principle. Het zwerfstenen beeld van graniet met een totaalgewicht van 6 ton symboliseert de Vogelgodin, die in de Noord Europese mythologie en voor de mensen uit de Nieuwe Steentijd - 5.000 jaar geleden - waakt over bomen, planten en dieren. In de holtes boven in de zwerfkei is als het ware het melkwegstelsel te ervaren, waarin de Aarde haar zwerftocht vervolgt. Op organische wijze verbindt het beeld in zich - cultuur en natuur en is een ode aan de enorme verscheidenheid en schoonheid van de natuur en de rijkdom van de cultuurhistorie. Het verbindt in zich als het ware natuur en cultuur, aldus de bedoeling van zijn schepper kunstenaar Joachim Karbe.
